Carl is great at what he does, from day one he makes you feel really relaxed and this helps when you’re terrified about driving a car for the first time – as I was! He doesn’t pull up and talk to you for ages like some instructors, instead the instruction is very practical and you practice everything whilst on the go. However, if you are struggling with a concept he’s happy to show you more detailed and simpler ways on great apps which he has on his tablet. This can sometimes make it easier to put words into action, because you visualise it first. Carl is also really patient, he never lost his temper or got frustrated with me – even when he probably had cause to haha. He stuck with me, was very flexible, and enabled me to pass my test, so thank you
